The clip of "Swingin' The Alphabet," from the Columbia two-reeler, "Violent is the Word for Curly" is on YouTube (link below). According to film historian Richard Finegan, the song's composer was Septimus Winner, who had originally published it in 1875 as "The Spelling Bee".
