My fondest memory of Ken Hicks is at the Connecticut Family Folk Festival in Elizabeth Park in [West] Hartford in the early 80s. He and Bob Zentz had flown up to Hartford from Norfolk on USAir, and Ken asked for and received several dozen packets of USAir peanuts, which he flung out randomly into the crowd during his set. Great publicity for the airline (and good munchies for all of us in the audience). Ken has a way with food. --Charlie Baum
