Skivee: Teh book you want information in is by Francis Rufus Bellamy and was first published in 1953 by A.A. Wyn, New York. That edition contained 216 pages. The next publication was in 1954 by Ace Books and was doubled with "The Brain Stealer". The plot is as you describe. A man is hit by lightning and becomes half-an-inch tall, becoming friends with Atta, a warraior ant. Hope that helps. Fiolar
