Brighton SIngers' Club swapped a couple of times in the early 1980's when we had easy access to a function room.

The problem was that we became a bar based Singers' Club quite early on so couldn't really offer the club room atmosphere most others would expect.

The idea gradually faded out of memory but some of us discuss it sometimes particularly as many of us tend to stick to singarounds, having little to do with the local Guest Club scene. So swapping with other singers'clubs could be good for promoting strong links between our sort of folk club.

The Function room? Since Spring 2007, we moved (opening huge rifts between the organising team ) to function rooms for all our Singarounds so the idea once again floats around.
