Someone mentioned how the wigs and fancy dresses came about so as to catch the judge's eye. Wouldn't it make sense then to let the dancer where her hair naturally. That should catch the judge's attention! My daughter is a beginner so she only wears her school's required uniform (little black skirt and white blouse) but they do wear a bun wig in the school show. She has told me she doesn't want to wear it when she dances at the feis. I have been searching for the "rules" and haven't found the wigs mentioned as requirements. This forum has been EXTREMELY helpful and liberating! Now I know I am not alone!!! Thank you all!! -Jenny
