Coming to this thread late, I can only echo many of the sentiments expressed here. As I've mentioned several times in other threads, when I joined Mudcat specifically for help on some lyrics, Malcolm was the first to answer, not only with the line in question but background information on the poem and its writer. I soon learned that, most often, the most learned and considered response to any "squabble" on Mudcat would come from Malcolm. I already miss him. Although I did have the opportunity to meet him once I knew him far better from his online persona. My tribute for a life well spent, Malcolm. May your onward journey be filled with even better and greater quests.
