To balladeer, Duke, PHJim, Jerryraven and others who remember the Toronto folk scene of the 1950's and early 60's, I'd be most grateful if you could share your memories of the Montréal scene of the same period which precedes my familiarity of venues starting in 1964. I don't want to distract from this Toronto thread but I had no luck with this request in a long Montreal thread last year. Thanks.
