Great to hear people's memories of the Toronto folk scene. David Parry was such a wonderful storyteller and singer -- I miss his presence around the Toronto folk scene. I'm good friends with Evalyn and in fact we do some performing together with another Toronto songwriter, Karyn Ellis, as "Girls with Glasses." And hi Jim, if you are who I think you are, I definitely remember you! My sense from talking to many people is that Mariposa was really very transformative for a lot of people, in terms of hearing new music, meeting people and becoming connected to the folk scene in Toronto. I'm curious about people's memories of who they saw there, or things that happened there that shaped their musical journey.
