I have only just caught up with this tragedy. Yes, Malcolm was a remarkable man with remarkable knowledge and he will be sorely missed. His scholarship certainly encouraged me to widen my own knowledge, partly by collecting old song books. I hope his extensive collection will go to good use elsewhere.
