Wooohooo! My Guitar is safely back in my hands. I apreciate it a whole lot more now. On Monday before it arrived I had to record for national BBC radio 2 on a borrowed guitar but It wasn't the same. I think that my guitar is still the best guitar I've ever played . She had broken a string on the way over and back and over and back again.
It had on the luggage tag a printout of the flight codes for where it had been. Apparently it got to belgium, went somewhere totally different on a British Airways flight, returned from there back to belgium, then back rightfully to england. It was delivered to my house back safely in my arms at 10.30pm on monday night after three sleepless nights. WOOHOOO! I spoke to the musicians union, but they said that problems with flying large instruments affect such a small number of people that its not worth them raising up a fuss about bad airlines and the way they treat instruments That it a great shame. Thanx for the support,
Ian
