Les Volcaniques is a festival near Riom, north of Clermont-Ferrand, at the beginning of July. Check out the website of Les Brayauds. The band La Chavanee has a festival at the end of July, in the Berry region in the centre. Parthenay, in the Poitou region, also has a festival in late July. Gennetines takes place in both July and August - mainly a participatory dance festival but lots of traditional music. Saint-Chartier has moved to a new location, near the old.
