Apparently, the people on this board are the only ones who know about John's passing. Neither Seattle paper (I still include the online P-I) has anything, and I found out through a mutual friend in California! I'd known John since our days at KRAB, and that goes back at least 35 years. A couple years ago I rewired the outlets in his house so he could plug in all his gear. He was a good man who worked mostly behind the scenes. My guess is he will be severely conspicuous in his absence. RIP, J.R. Jef
