Sev, the hospital (and more importantly the insurance company) have a responsibility to provide a safe discharge. For anyone who lives alone this means that they have the option to discharge to a temporary care facility to assist in the transition. Having friends stop in is not the same as care when you needed it. If you ask there is a good chance it can be provided. Take care of yourself -- for you and for all of us as well... Tinker
