Wow, thanks you guys for the all the great suggestions! There are several here that I don't know the tunes for that I will have to look up. But the titles "Glorious Ale," "Oh Good Ale" and "Bring Us A Barrel" certainly sound promising.   (YouTube is being uncooperative at the moment, or I'd look them up now.) "Home Brewed" also appears very a propos, and "Here's to you Tom Brown." There are a lot of songs here I now want to learn.

Richard Bridge: the "technical" brewing song you describe sounds excellent. You don't remember a line from it or anything like that? I'll have to see if I can track it down somewhere because it sounds ideal for the brewing class.

Breezy: What you wrote about some of these songs just sounding better when sung by a man, particularly a bearded one, made me laugh out loud. I like to sing sea shanties and so have run into that problem before. :-)   I hope a significant number of my classmates will have beards and will be able to help out.
