You may still find this song in elementary schools. My son learned it in Grade 4 last year here in BC (the far side of Canada).

Visits by Bluenose II also create lasting memories. My brother toured the ship with his high school class, along with several other school groups. Years later, looking at the group photo taken on deck, my brother noticed that not only was his best friend from high school standing beside him (not surprising) but a boy who would become an equally close friend in university was standing next-but-one on his other side, and behind my brother was another bosom-buddy-to-be. Neither had met my brother, nor known each other, during high school, yet they all stood within touching distance for the photo that day on the deck of Bluenose II.
