I've been picking lots of people's brains for this recently, and nobody's got even an inkling. I have heard, don't know where or from who, a verse for Union Maid that I only remember a little bit of: You folks who want to be free, take a tip from me... ...Organize! (I don't remember if "organize" is the emphasized word in the middle of the verse, or the last word of the verse.) I have run into a significant number of other alternate verses, so I'll just say I'm not looking for "We modern union maids..." or the Mother Jones verse, I'm looking for one that is not gendered. Thanks!
