Sorry for the delay, I got involved in another project. I found some recordings for "Le Ranz des Vaches", but none sounds even remotely like this song, which is light and lilting. The melody for "Auf der Alm da gibt'd koa Sünd" is also nothing like it. Of course, I do realize that songs evolve with lives of their own. So I sent my midi to Joe tonight. It repeats the melody so you can sing all the verses along with it--for my nieces and nephews. Maybe some former Girl Scout from the east coast will recognize it. Alicia
