I found, in the local hardware store, a mini dustbin with a clip-on lid. It's really small, (about 4" x 9"),the sort of thing you might keep kitchen vegetable waste in prior to composting (if you're into that sort of thing).

It was REALLY usefull at Bude this year when it was announced late at night that the porta-loos hadn't arrived and the clubhouse facilities would be locked until 7am!

For early-morning trips to the shower etc, I recomend those hideous-looking plastic shoes sometimes known as 'crocks' - perfect for slipping on when getting out of the shower or to cross wet grass/mud. They dry in no time.

At Bromyard (a la Glastonbury) last year, I wore them on the camp site and changed into clean shoes at the campsite gates, keeping them in a plastic bag until my return to the site when I reversed the procedure.
