This is just sinking in.... What an awful year! I've known Johnny for as long as I've been in Folk Music (ie: 1960's) and he was an inspiration to me and hundreds of other would be singers. We last saw him at Chippenham when we had the honour of sharing the stage for the Late Night Shanties when he was in good voice although he had been saying that he had been having problems... He was particularly looking forward to a narrowboat trip a couple of weeks after... Our thoughts are with Joyce and the family. Tony and Pearl
