Johnny was one of life's true gentle men and pleasure to be with, the consummate performer.
It has been an honour be able to call him a friend. He has and will always be my hero and inspiration in the folk world.
Mandy always said he gave the best bear hug ever and she will miss him, as will we both.
Thank you Johnny for you friendship and company.
Our love and thought's are with Joyce and her family and friends at this very very sad time.

Have as safe voyage to the other side, god bless
