Hello Guest

yes it will be a live sound and vision mix direct to satellite, and yes we have a team lead by Charles and Heather Denscombe of MicroVideo, Shrewsbury, who work miracles for us. They did the video work last year, examples of which you can find on the festival web site. They use several remote cameras and just one at stage level with a real cameraman. Each artist will receive a live-mix DVD immediately after their perfomance, and obviously, as all of the channels are recorded separately, a remixed broadcast quality DVD can be created under instruction of the artist at a later date.

Paul Hutchinson, our festival web master, from Virtual Shropshire will handle the signal after it has left the satellite. A case of small Shropshire businesses working together, providing an astonishing result for the festival. And they are lovely people to work with.

And yes fingers crossed, we are regarding this first year as an experiment. We are very confident that it will work, and who knows where it will take the festival or our continued broadcasting of folk based content on the internet.

Hello Tim

Any wireless enabled device (lap top or telephone) will be able to connect direct to our WiFi output.

Cheers Guests thanks for your interest. I think this is all very exciting stuff.

Best
Alan
