Guess this would fit here. When Meredith Willson wrote "The Music Man" he included a love song called, "Till There Was You." The producer, after hollering and screaming for weeks, had it taken out of the show - but on opening night, Willson put it back in. So what happened? It overwhelmed the audience, and went on to become one of the great songs from a musical. See? Songwriters DO know something!! |
