I first saw them at Dave Howden's 60th birthday party - sorry to give your age away Dave! I thought they were brilliant, and suggested them to the committee at the nest meeting. As Youngfolkie and Pistachio said, the atmosphere was electric in the Civic Hall in Saddleworth last Saturday. I was MCing, and the sound guy and I had decided that we were going to run a tight ship sound-wise. But if I hadn't given them an encore I think I'd have been lynched! Can't wait to see them again - hopefully back in Saddleworth next year (along with Hissyfit) - if I can get my own way! Ali xx
