Chris Shaw mentioned Macarthur Park---That has to be the dumbest song I have ever heard---and so sad that some poor jerk's cake melted in the rain and now he cannot eat that slop. Perhaps there is some deep insight I missed---like don't walk your cake since its not a dog, when they say add water the box does not mean a rainstorm. Who knows. The suggestion from Jerry rassmussen about the best folk performers makes sense---and then one really has to define for the umpteenth time what is considered folk. Perhaps it really is baking cakes and sitting in the rain with them and waiting for some fellow called Godot. Bill Hahn
