Jeez, we are all just a bunch of frustrated actors, aren't we? Actually, I've always had the same opinion of most trial attorneys too...and there is many a teacher/professor who once had aspirations to act. Trod many boards in my time...since age 7. Haven't done much recently, but it's still in the blood. I agree that a certain amount of acting ability (or is it just plain hamminess?) makes a person with a good voice a real singer. Technique is jim dandy, but interpretation is what puts a song over to your listeners. Even mediocrity in the voice department cant be covered up VERY well with good delivery.
