Islamists in Britain have celebrated the deaths of British soldiers in Afghanistan on the Internet, cheering the Taliban on and expressing the desire for even more British soldier casualties.

On the website "Islamic Awakening," which bills itself as working to provide "authentic knowledge and guidance with regards to everyday duties Muslims offer to Allah, such as Jihad etc." posts have been made saying that the "bros" in Afghanistan are "going to push for the next century" and "round it up to 300" deaths, amongst other comments.

The first messages were posted on Sunday, with a poster calling himself Ismaeel writing: "Man, they really are dropping like flies over there.

Another, calling himself AbuJunayd, wrote: "On a side note, you reckon the bros are gonna push for the next century, round it up to 300. Inshallah the more the kuffs(*) deploy, the more the bros will send em back in body bags, or crutches or with serious psychological problems. May Allah give the Mujahideen Sabr,m reward and victory." (* = kuffs is slang for kuffars, or non-Muslims).

Another poster, Wazir, said: "By command of Allah, the invading forces will be forced to withdraw humiliated and defeated by a group of men who between them do not possess even one transport helicopter."

Noorah said: "They are really getting whooped. Don?t know how they think they can win."

The Islamic Awakening website's founding charter states further that its purpose is to "face the ideological onslaught waged on the Muslims by exposing the doctrines of deviancy and disbelief, such as secularism, socialism, democracy and nationalism" and to "preserve the true meanings of some of the important Islamic concepts, such as'Jihad','Commanding the Good & Forbidding the Evil','Love and Hate for the sake of Allah'from the unblessed scheme of the hypocrites and disbelievers who are working tirelessly to redefine Islam under the pretext of 'curbing religious extremism and intolerance'."

Only a few days ago the Labour Government announced that it would be scaling down its spending on trying to combat Islamic extremism in Britain "because Muslims are being stigmatised."

So these are another few for you to hug Emma.
