Dear Paul Burke. All good fun and no doubt written in jest. I watched Boycott bat and , yes, it did seem like 300 days!. It was not so much " batting" as "occupying the crease". I am still surprised that Australia could not bat for 2 days, notwithstanding the state of the pitch. Still, congratulations to England... a wonderful effort. AD 1943
