Don't give up so quickly on "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall." Years ago, Frank Hall (then of Bloomington, Ind., now living in Ireland) was sharing an Amtrak train car with a large troop of Girl Scouts, whose singing actually wore him out. In response, he made up this very nice variation on "100 Bottles of Beer." It goes, "A hundred bottles of beer on the wall, A hundred bottles of beer, Take one down, put it back up, A hundred bottles of beer on the wall." It's quite a long song, ... much longer, even, than the original.
