Well, the Fat Lady (FL2AC) is snugged down on her stand for the night and I have time to contemplate. A Dirty Bunya face, Blackwood sides and back - she looks just so sexy... Smells so good, too!

Haven't bought a new guitar for a while and this 'un 'll probably be my last one. Isn't it a good feeling? All that potential sitting there, waiting to be unleashed...

Had a good session this afternoon, running her through my small amp. The patented Cole Clark pickup system, where you can choose which frequencies are picked up by the face pickup and which by the conventional under-bridge piezos, seems to work very well. (At least I think that's how it works, sure sounded fine, though). And the heft and feel of the axe and the way it all falls to hand, the sound of the new Elixirs, the whole combination of craftsmanship and looks, make for an unforgettable experience.
