Yep, another video on YouTube. I know, there's a billion of 'em or more to watch. This one, however, is rather unique in that it features my musical saw playing.

I was invited to play an annual event at the historic Moore Theater in Seattle last Spring, their More Music @ The Moore show. This show combines the talents of veteran performers with those of younger musically talented teens.

This whole evening was filmed and the videos of the performances that happened have just recently been released. In this video I'm joined by a whole host of very fine talent on stage. We're all offering a rendition of an old Joni Mitchel song, "Both Sides Now".

The vocal trio, The Eriam Sisters, are now in the America's Got Talent competition. The Gothard Sisters, a trio of fiddlers were in fine form. There were so many on stage with me that I truthfully can't recall them all.

I was too busy paying attention to my saw playing to really appreciate what was happening all around me. It was really great to see this from the audience point of view. I was surprised to hear how well my musical saw carried through the house.

The place was packed to the rafters with listeners. Those younger bands and performers really have some dedicated fans. I might have had one or two out there too. The audience response to our show was over the top.

This is the best example of my musical saw playing currently available to view online. I get lots of folks capturing video of me as I play but precious little of it ever gets sent to me so I can share it with family, friends and fans. So, this is very special.

Enjoy!
