Unfortunately yes, the Woolpack and Bowling Green are both shut at the moment, but there are plenty of other pubs still thriving.
There will be loads of dancing taking place, we're using the White Swan, Maypole (outside the Manor pub), the Bay Horse, the Cross Pipes and outside the Courthouse, so plenty to see.
The beer shop mentioned has also shut, (now a motorbike shop) but there is a wine shop nearby (on Newmarket) that stocks beers, and there's Waitrose and Sainsburys in town for those wanting bottled beer.
