Well, I made the radical decision to leave my wellies at home. I have it on first hand authority from the site crew that the ground is dry, marquees are going up as you would expect and all will be in readiness for a smashing weekend of dance, song etc. (I also left the potato salad I'd made for my lunch on the spare bed so that'll be interesting when I get home on Monday - and before you ask, it was in a container so won't be spreading too far over the counterpane!)
