Does anyone know anything about Steve Stills use of EEEEBE. =
The first two strings (high E and B) are the same as standard. The third string (G) has been lowered a step and a half to E while the fourth string (D) has been raised a full step to the same E.
The fifth string (A) is dropped until it is the same as the sixth (low E) string.
The same thing can be done with DDDDAD. Very unusual alternative tuning pattern.
