Joe -- There was a CBS-TV version of Of Thee I Sing in 1972, with Carroll O'Connor,Cloris Leachman and Jack Gilford. I'm not aware of any earlier films of Let 'em Eat Cake. There's a fine CD recording (Sony M2K42522) of both of them, conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas, with Larry Kert, Maureen McGovern and Jack Gilford. I think it's currently out of print, but should be locatable and is worth the effort. michael
