M.Ted: Good point, but Polanski didn't fulfill his part of the bargain by showing up for sentencing. Being afraid that the judge planned to renege on the plea agreement doesn't justify hiding from the law and failing to fulfill his part of the bargain for three decades. As the Villan says, he skipped bail. He was a fugitive. Book 'im, Danno.
