I agree with Smedley about the "rats" part; that's how I read it too. Unfortunately, "kooh-RAH-chah" sounds a lot like "koo-ka-RAH-cha" -- cucaracha -- "cockroach" in Spanish. "La Cucaracha" ("The Cockroach") is a traditional Spanish folk corrido, so it's got a folk song connection, but it's been parodied so much that I think you'd be ridiculed if you use a band name that sounds like the name of that tune. Besides, if your band is playing English, Scottish, Irish, some European (French, Swedish), and French-Canadian tunes, why would you even want a name that makes reference to a folk dance from The Philippines??? It wouldn't be a good way to advertise what your band does. Two thumbs down for the name Kuratsa. Back to the drawing board, Hamish!
