Fred was a wannabe "Hobo" and we had lot of good times playing songs of the open road......He told me lots of tales from the Clearwater; about the various assortment of crew members.......Louis Killen...Don McLean...His long neck banjo look a lot like Pete Seeger's, with all kind of names on the drumhead......He also mentioned his time in Wisconsin Art.....very serious guy yet a lot of fun musically......Frank of Toledo
