There was a piece in our local paper this week. One of the little group of friends got in touch with Great Ormond Street hospital and they helped her to arrange a sponsored bike ride. (Shady couldn't participate because, shamefully, she can't ride a bike) A lot of kids turned out for it and altogether they raised £1,100. With other things they all have planned, they will probably end up raising over £2,000. Alicia has said that she doesn't want the figure skating lesson they were going to give her with the first bit of the money and that it should all go to charity. She feels she owes so much to various charities. She will decide which the money will go to. The situation may be making them grow up rather quickly but it seems to be doing it in a good way! Everything positive so far, so here's hoping it all continues so Love Lynne
