The next AVID (Awaken Village Interest in Dance) is at Finnigley Village Hall on Wednesday December 9th from 8 p.m.

AVID is a community based organisation which aims to increase involvement in folk dancing and playing.

There is:
No band booked.
      Instead anyone who wants to play can do so.
No amplification.
      This means that the dance is ready to organise and that no-one is daunted by a P.A.
An emphasis on having fun.

The dance runs from 8pm to 10.45pm which gives time for about 10-12 dances and a finishing time to accommodate those with jobs the next day.

AVID attracts dancers, musicians and callers of all levels of experience and everyone is welcomed and encouraged.
