Yes, very sad. Now, they're all gone. I've had the delight of a number of their performances, and will treasure my recordings. The thing I will remember most about Liam was his wonderful poetry readings. It was always riveting when he got into one of these - he put you immediately into the scene, to be part of the feeling and the emotion. Of these, my favorite was from his 1992 performances at the Olympia theater in Dublin. He read Patrick Kavanaugh's "Pegasus", a great work even without Liam, but his reading simply blows me away.
