'Thames Lighterman' by Alisdair Clayre, recorded by Cockersdale. There's also a tune called 'The Thames Hornpipe' but that may be no good, and a song called 'The Thames Flowed Proudly to the Sea', which sounds promising until you realise that it was written by Robert Burns, therefore is saying how much better a Scottish river is! There's the Charles Dibden's 'The London Waterman' which Bob Roberts and Peter Bellamy recorded, and 'Tuppence to London Bridge', which seems to be a series of floating nursery-rhyme type verses linked by a chorus about travelling on the Thames. Also 'Limehouse Reach' by Cicely Fox-Smith, tune by Dave Webber. That should give him a few. Barbara
