You still see their ghastly LPs in folk bins all over the North West (several today in a collectors market in Blackpool Winter Garden) got up in the sort of nostalgic mawkishness that has made folk the cultural pariah it is today. They & their noxious ilk served as the inspiration for Half a Shilling from Phoenix Nights:
