I'm Scots, Welsh, Norman English.
Wife is Russian and Hungarian Jewish.
With a mix like that, our son has a tough road ahead. The Russians are gloomy, the Hungarians are mad, the Scots are stubborn, the Welsh are musical, and the English think it's all slightly beneath them, altho they are MUCH too reserved to say so.
Which pretty well describes son Martin at 17. (B.G.)
