It's so interesting. Obama doesn't seem to get power at all. He doesn't seem to have any fight in him. You would think that with an election 10 months away, he would finally start fighting, calling the Republicans a do-nothing bunch of negatives, and go for the throat of the bankers and others -- head for the working class that has been betrayed, the poor blacks, all his own constituency (you would think, hello, Democratic Party). He has to take the fight to the opposition. Instead he waffles around still trying to find one or two (no?) bipartisan Republicans so he can -- what, spread warm feelings around? I'm beginning to think that maybe it was because he had no father. I never thought that I would long for LBJ. yours, Peter T.
