Thanks Bob...what a beautiful soul... he continues to be an inspiration... I remember the TV show, 'Let's Sing Out'. I tuned in faithfully and was curious about his use of a nylon string guitar.. which was different back then...not used by the trad. country players.. The only guest I can recall now was Josh White with a lit cigarette stuck in the headstock of his guitar.
somehow that image stayed with me... a smokin' black bluesman on national televison.... bless ol' Oscar the Grouch,
