So the wife wanted cats. Our house has now had cats for about 7 years as a result.

Right now we have a number of issues with the young male of the mother son combo we have had the longest.

This cat is named Tinsel, as he was adopted in the holiday season and is a grey/white/silver kind of a cat. He never liked me.

Firstly he has the largest hernia the vet has ever seen, though the vet thinks it is not really hurting the cat. While the hernia only became apparent in the last year the vet thinks he always had it. However now seems to be developing hair loss and sores on the side of the down hanging hernia. Not sure why.

Best of all he has been having a bit of an ass problem over the last 4 months. He has been generating stool he has trouble passing, and when that happens he gets uncomfortable When he gets uncomfortable he also starts leaking stool around the plug he has digested, he also seems to forget where the litter box is when he pees. Couches, beds, carpets, all fair game.

He has been to the vet a few times with this issue. We have changed his diet. I have, rubber gloves on hands, milked several obstructive turds out of the end of his digestive tract. What a joy that is. Still we have distribution of excrement issues.

I think this cat gets one last trip to the vet. I love all my pets and I hate to see him suffer. I also hate milking turds out of his ass and washing sheets and carpets that have been defecated upon. I know he is not happy either.

So there it is.
