You might try something that Tacoma makes called the papoose. I think it is basically like a guitar with a capo on the 5th fret. I tried one once- it had a pretty good sound and seemed virtually indestructable-which a Baby Taylor is not. I have had problems with the back coming unglued, though I don't think that would have happened if I had packed it properly every time. That problem with the back has created some intonation problems- it's like having a whammy bar on an acoustic guitar.
