Melissa, Your comment reminded me of something said by (I believe) Sarah McLachlan: "Note to guitar makers: Girls have [breasts]. If you put a volume control right where a [breast] goes, weird sh** happens all through your songs." I have a similar ergonomic problem with Ovation guitars... I'm lucky that the one I own has a super-shallow back, otherwise they keep sliding off my considerable gut, not to mention that the round back plus the round belly on me make the neck a half-mile away.
