Thankyou for the interest in "Barley Bree" and asking if there was a connection with the Sweeneys however we are a Band based in the North of Scotland ( We used to be in the Whisky business hence the name). We got together in 1985 and only recently (Google etc ) have we discovered that there are several other "Barley Brees" throughout the world. We generally play a mixture of Scottish Ceilidh,Country, and Folk music for Functions, Parties, Weddings etc, in Village Halls, Hotels , Clubs and Pubs in our local area - - (Inverness to Moscow!)
