Friends, I wasn't trying to make any point, far less "score" any. I merely asked if there was any substance in an article that I recently read (somewhere -sorry haven't a reference) that seemed to be suggesting that new young bands,in the U.K. (and some that had been playing away in semi-secret) were going back to old time American music for their material. This they described as another "Revival" to match that of the 50s the songs from which era were again being used Since I am no longer able to involve myself in the music scene and do not live in the UK I am interested to know.That's all ! I love most kinds of music and used to be an avid collector when I was able to afford it. Why obscure ?
